Dehler Yachts har byggt båtar sedan 1962. Högsta prioritet är seglingsupplevelsen, det skall vara roligt att segla en Dehler. Det är lätta båtar med mycket segel och moderna kölar.
Varvets långa traditionen att bygga kvalitetsbåtar gör att andrahandsvärdet är högt. Det innebär att ett köp av en Dehler är en trygg investering!
I Båtnytt nr 1, 2012 skriver man:
"Seglingskänslan är gedigen, Dehler 41 är lugn, har tyngd i gången, påtagligt rodertryck och är på gränsen till lovgirig. Manöverförmågan är makalös, åtta ton båt girar runt sin egen längd i lågfart. Akterskeppet är utlagt som på Vrolijks vinnande proffskörda TP 52:or i Medelhavet vilket visar att varvet siktar på att vinna kappseglingar efter respitsystemen ORCI och IRC."
Dehler-båtar är täta och starka eftersom skrov och däck är sammanfogad med lim. Den har också ingjutna plattor i aluminium under alla däcksbeslag för maximal styrka. Dehler 41 är byggd i sandwichkonstruktion. Det betyder att skrovet är extremt styvt men samtidigt tillräckligt lätt för att gå snabbt på sjön och vinna regattor. Det innebär också en förnämlig boendekomfort genom att kondensen hålls undan samtidigt som skrovet är ljuddämpande.

Dehler 41 är designad av det mycket framgångsrika bolaget judel/vrolijk & Co Yacht design.
Redan på sjuttio- och åttiotalet skördade man stora framgångar på den internationella kappseglingsarenan. Båtar som Rubin, Pinta, Saudade och Innovision vann många regattor, bland annat One Ton Cup, Sardiniens Cup och många andra.
Segern för Alinghi i Americas Cup visar resten av världen att judel/vrolijk sätter standarden för hur snabba båtar skall designas.
Designkommentar från judel/vrolijk & Co om Dehler 41
Designing a new Dehler in the so popular 40ft. size range was a very demanding challenge for us. We did the very successful Dehler 38, later 39 more than 10 years ago and it was the task, to improve on all aspects.
The new 41, as its predecessor, needs to be a really good compromise between the racing sailers demands and those of the cruising sailors. A combination, that is claimed to be achieved by many, but that in fact is not met at all by most of them. The boat was designed with the ORC as well as the IRC rule in mind and was optimized for both rules, as far as this is possible.
The size and speed potential was very careful selected, to allow the boat to stay ahead of ist direct competitors, allowing to get clear air on the first beat. After the selection of the proper size, the hull and its appendages have been optimized by our VPP and CFD-Codes (Computational-Fluid-Dynamics) with several testruns vs. the ORC-VPP. Sail area, stability, hull shape etc. have been tested in quite a number of variations and different shape
concepts to fine tune the final design.
The final result is a boat with moderate beam, a little topside flair and U-shaped sections. The racing keel is of the nowadays common T-shape, whereas the cruising keel with its lower draft is Lshaped. With the lower cruising draft, this type of keel provides much better upwind performance. The 9/10 fractional rig comes with two swept back spreaders, no runners and non overlapping headsails of appr. 106%. For racing, a carbon mast is recommended.
Deck- and cockpitlayout are designed to allow for a huge working area for the racing crew and also to provide a big living area while cruising. The cockpit comes in two version, a simple and light open transom version for racing and a closed cockpit with integrated transom-/bathing platform for cruising. The interior layout is very similar to the popular Dehler 39, but despite the more racy hullshape and the big cockpit, it offers some more interior volume and space. The interior will come in typical dehler style, with nice and high quality wooden furniture, clever detail solutions and a noble touch.
